Vision-X

Vision-X, formerly known as Jaguar Band, has been in existence since 1995.  The band originally started with a few Haitian compatriots who thought that it was deemed necessary to have a culturally based type band in the Greater Rochester area.  Those original members composed of Rodrigue Achilles (Lom2fwa), Jean M. Nelson (Sadoux), Jean M. Seide(Charlie) and Sally Willingham.  Given where we are today, undoubtedly, these original members were visionaries in the true sense of the term.  They started congregating in a garage throwing ideas around about forming a Haitian band, but without any conceived notion that we would grow to such magnitude.  Later on during that year, Charlie has introduced Ismael Barthelemy(Mayo/Rocket) as Guitar player to the band.  This introduction was indeed the beginning of something big to come because Rocket had brought along Roger Jean-Baptiste (Ti Yale), a very respectful musician and well-known Guitar player who had released many hit records with Jet-X and others.  With Roger’s musical knowledge and our will power, determination and love for kompa music, the dream started to unfold.  We had a Keyboard player, singer, writer & composer (Sadoux), a Drummer (Charlie) and a Bass player (Lom2fwa).  Now, the following year, Yves Milfort came on board as Floor Tom player and then came Gregory as second Drummer.
